Unit system

It is possible to select to work with SI units system or Imperial/Us customary.

Scale

Enables setting of scale used for drawing in the model space, which units and how many of them will represent 1 drawing unit. It is required to input wished scale for draw/plot to layout.

 

Paper

The size of the paper for plotting can be selected from various offered types, and an individual sheet can also be created. The frame of the paper for drawing in layout can also be defined. The viewports will be drawn according to the defined size of the paper in layout. Plotting from layout has to be done for scale value 1 = 1.

 

Model space rectangles

The frames which are drawn in model space will later be used as templates for drawing of viewports in layout. The frames are drawn in two ways: individually or like array. If they are drawn individually the angle of rotation could be selected and they can be precisely positioned into the drawing. When array is drawn, numbers of rows and columns as well as other geometrical values has to be defined. The result will be a large number of frames which are parallel with axis x and y.
It is possible to define layers to be used for drawing of frames.
Once drawn frames it is possible to erase or zoom into any of them. With usual ACAD commands (move, rotate) drawn frames can be additionally adapted.

 

Layout viewport-s

For the frames which are selected from model space the viewports will be drawn in layout. Regardless of how rotated are model space frames, all viewports will be drawn horizontally in layout, which enables simple plotting on the paper.
